Terms of Service
Last updated 12 June 2026
These terms govern your use of returnzero (the "Service"), operated by an individual based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
returnzero provides interview-preparation content, coding challenges, and related tools. Some content is free; some requires a paid subscription. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. Keep your access credentials secure.
Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Stripe until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from your account's billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
- Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. See our Refund Policy.
- We may change prices; changes apply to renewals after we notify you, never retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service's content outside of personal study use.
- Share a single account's paid access with others, or circumvent the paywall.
- Attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the in-app AI assistant to generate unlawful or abusive content.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or put the Service at risk.
Intellectual property
The content, design, and code of the Service are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the content for your own interview preparation. Code you write in the Service remains yours.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and the content is for educational purposes - it does not guarantee any interview or employment outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
